Buster's Childhood
I was born in Texas, and at the age of 4 months, I was crowned Baby King in the Dallas Better Baby Show. |
| My family lived in the Dallas - Ft. Worth Metroplex for my entire youth. Here I am at two years old. |
A pinball wizard at 4 years old. |
Strolling down the streets of Ft. Worth at 5 years old. |
| This ad ran in the Dallas Morning News, and kicked off the sale of frozen Fletcher's State Fair of Texas Corny Dogs. Being a nephew to Neil Fletcher sometimes had its advantages. |

At Sunset High School, I excelled in the ROTC program, and was Company D Commander. |
Remembering my high school days
I served as the executive officer on the Jodiliers High School Drill Team, and won the Woozencraft Award (click on link for more info.) for the Best Drilled Cadet in 1963.
